Music:I'd Really Love To See You Tonight - Dan Fogelberg
Minor Annoyances
A friend here asked me to pick up lunch for her and one of our mutual friends if I could. I agreed. They each wanted a salad from Wendy's. Lunch is at noon. We had a fire alarm, so I went to pick them up at 11:30 (fire alarm time). I brought them back and she was upset and told me I was inconsiderate because they had no fridge to put them in and now they would be warm. First of all, I could (and did) put them in the fridge on my end. Second, I had forgotten they don't use the fridge down there (due to people in the office being bastards). Third, IT WAS HALF A STUPID HOUR. I had decided I wanted something different for lunch, so I wanted to make sure I got their lunch while I had the opportunity.
I understand that she wouldn't want warm salad, but I don't think it was INCONSIDERATE of me to get them early. Yeesh.
Am I wrong? Honestly.
On the plus side, I seem to be having company Memorial Day weekend. Now all I have to do is unearth the guest room and bed, as I think it's a little soon for us to be sharing a bed. After all, I haven't known him very long.
